It's Your Weekend Update..

I always want to end that sentence with "with Seth Meyers!" Love him. Anyway. Onto how my weekend was!

Nate and I went to Genghis Grill for dinner. We hadn't been in a while, and he was really craving it. Afterwards, we headed to Yumilicious for fro-yo because he knows I need to satisfy my sweet tooth, especially after a sodium filled meal!

Came home, watched American History X - neither of us had seen it before! - and went to bed.

Friday nights are usually the most boring night of our weekend. It's kind of a wind down night from the crazy work week.

I was up early to head to Stephanie's to organize for this month's Miles of Smiles event. We are really excited about giving again this month, and we'll be at it this coming weekend!

After we did all of our organization, I played with Baby Ellayna while Steph got ready for the day.

I'm obsessed with her sweet little face! And her alfalfa hair was cracking me up.

Afterwards, we were off to get Stephanie a wedding dress! She tried on a few and finally, the last one she tried on was THE ONE. I was so excited for her, because she was giddy happy about it. :)

All of us bridesmaids with the bride herself.

We also chose a dress that we will wear and just had an overall accomplished day. From enjoying Chipotle for lunch, girl talk, dress shopping and more. It was awesome. Steph posted this pic below on Facebook yesterday and pointed out that we've been friends now for almost 18 years. Crazy to think of it in those terms!

Headed home to see my boys, have dinner with them and cuddle on the couch. Now that I'm thinking about it - this may be the night Nate and I watched American History X. I am getting my days all mixed up now.

We slept in! I always have to have at least one day where I sleep in during the week. Once I was up, I was excited to enjoy my coffee in the new mug Heather gave me for Christmas.

It 'sleeps' when it's empty or cold, and it wakes up when you put a hot beverage into it. LOVE.

Nate spent most of the day watching football while I spent most of the day agonizing over how to rearrange my gallery wall. I consulted you guys on Instagram and I finally came up with something I LOVE.

EEK. I love it. I keep looking at it, haha.

That night, we watched the Golden Globes and I made us a delicious new dinner we haven't had before. Don't worry - I will be sharing the recipe here on the blog THIS WEEK. SO be sure and come back for it. ;)

What did you do this weekend?

What did you think of American History X? I watched it many moons ago with my hubby and couldn’t make it through! Crazy stuff. Cute pictures! Sounds like a great weekend. And that mug is pretty dang awesome.
