I always have a hard time deciding what to get someone or what to do for them on their birthday because I stress over it being PERFECT. Because 30 is such a big deal, I knew I really needed to do something better than the last 3 birthdays we've spent together.
I then decided to throw him a surprise party! I had never done one before, so of course I was worried about all of the details, someone spilling the beans, etc. but everything went AMAZINGLY!!!

I threw my hubby a 30th surprise party and he loved it! Totally made his day, and he said he had never had a birthday party before (apparently I found out my inlaws never threw them even kiddy parties). It turned out awesome and I'll attempt it again on his 40th!
