Pizza Casserole

Happy Monday everyone!

Today, I have another delicious Pinterest inspired recipe for you guys.

PIZZA CASSEROLE

This one was SUPER easy, yummy and actually kinda fun to make.

Don't let the name fool you.. it's more like a lasagna. :)

First up, grab all the necessary ingredients:

Ingredients:
1 bag of egg noodles
1 extra large can of Ragu sauce (or any tomato sauce you prefer)
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 lbs hamburger meat
1 package of pepperoni

First things first! Preheat your oven to 350 degrees..

Now, brown the hamburger meat & drain:

Then, boil noodles until soft & drain:

Now the layering starts!

1st layer - spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a cake pan
2nd layer - half of the noodles
3rd - half of the meat
4th - half of the sauce
5th - rest of the noodles
6th - half of the cheese
7th - rest of the meat
8th - rest of the sauce
9th - rest of the cheese
10th - pepperonis!

Now, cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes.

Then, VOILA!
You have now created a tasty masterpiece! :)

Side note: Once it's done baking, take it out & let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes. (This is to cool it off AND to let everything settle together, or it will just fall apart on your fork!)

I made something very similar last week, but with pieces of biscuits at the bottom of the pan in place of the noodles. I love pinterest recipes!
