Well, wait no more. IT'S HERE! Full of juicy details and pictures too!
First, let me thank the planner of it all - Neely. This girl totally outdid her self. She made sure we all had fun, and that we all had something to do the whole weekend. Girl, I hope you know how awesome you are, and how much you're appreciated. Heart you!
Friday night was kicked off with me meeting up with Laura and Kiley at The Quarter Bar before dinner. I guess we were all a little anxious and ready to start the night early! :) Sadly, I didn't take any pics here. We were too busy chatting and drinking our cocktails.
We left from here and headed to Mattito's for delicious Tex Mex and to meet up with the rest of the gang. It was beyond exciting to walk in and see faces that I've see on blogs and twitter, but see them in person. Loved hugging my friends! :)
Kiley, myself and Ashley at dinner getting acquainted in person! :)
Me & Ash were just talking about how delish the queso was and out of nowhere came LINDSEY! :)
After a few drinks and plenty of Mexican food, we headed on over to The Gingerman for a few more drinks and lots more talking. Around midnight or so, we decided to end the night (are we old ladies or what?!) and meet up again in the morning!
Saturday morning, we all met up for brunch at Breadwinners. Neely made it a point to try and convince everyone to get the banana bread french toast because "it will change your life" - HAHA!
You'll have to ask Laura about that one, I think she's the only one who ordered it, but I will say that it was delicious, and everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal, even though it was super early! :)
Me and Liz drinking our coffee and chatting about everything under the sun!
Right after the group shot, we saw a lady get real lucky as her car was getting towed because she was too lazy/cheap to park valet, whatev! Entertaining, to say the least. :)
After brunch, we kinda broke off into groups to do whatever we wanted until dinner. Six of us went to Northpark to shop! First up on the list, was Nordstroms, where we basically all bought shoes, haha. It's just what girls do. We spent a good 4 hours or so at the mall.
Then, we HAD to make a trip to...
After our Saturday afternoon adventures, it was time to get ready for dinner at Victor Tango's with all the girls again.
Dinner was a blast. We had plenty of wine and plenty of delicious food. OH, and Neely's dad was there with friends for his birthday, so she ordered him a dessert and when the waitress brought it out to him we all sang "Happy Birthday" which embarrassed him. Too funny! ;)
Aly & myself at dinner sharing beauty secrets!
Aly, myself, Kerbi & Katie - sorry for all the flash, it was like the paparazzi was in there or something! ;)
After dinner, we were off to Barcadia for some dancing, games and more drinks!
Sunday morning, we had a small group get together for brunch at Another Broken Egg to say our goodbyes.
Ashley, Neely, Kelsey, Liz and myself. Love these girls!
This was such an amazing weekend, and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet all of these great girls who I feel lucky to call my friends.
I hope we can all get together again on a more regular basis.
As for my Dallas girls, I'll see you ladies soon! :)
